Come join us as we peruse the semi-coherent ramblings of a borderline lunatic, whose delicate condition is pushed even closer to the edge due to viewing yet another low-budget DVD from our "friends" at VideoAsia. This time out, it's Vampire Buster, which was retitled to Ninja Vampire Busters even though there are no ninjas in it. Come to think of it, there really aren't any vampires either. Agh, my head is already starting to hurt...

To Hong Kong cinematic neophytes, the image of a portly man enveloping and portuding the power of Garfield might be something to dissuade further viewing.

But to those of us who have purposely rattled our ocular orbs backwards in order to place the base for right and proper shenanigans vis a vie with a Cantopoppin' flavor, we could see any and all releases in the same light.

To summarize: Hong Kong used to make movies that were fucking dope and I watched them. They can do some shit now that's still pretty cool but you should have some "edibles" to bring the drunken master home. And I can't even kick myself in the fucking face. WHOOO.

HI-YA!

This is the sort of movie that has fucking neon nipples. I don't know who could be really for or against that. Whoo.
