City Hunter
This game is an adaptation of a popular Japanese magna (comic book). You play the hero Ryo, who must infiltrate a terrorist group's headquarters to rescue hostages.
The film rights to the manga were bought by producer/director Wong Jing. When it came time to make the movie starring Jackie Chan, Wong (an avid video game player), simply tweaked the video game's story, added a little bit of Die Hard flavor, some references to "Street Fighter II" and viola, there was a movie. Too bad there was never a sequel to the game where you could play as Chingmy Yau.
