This early role for Chow Yun-Fat casts him as a rookie cop who steps on his superiors' toes by sticking to the law and suffers the consequnces as a result. I really don't have much to say about this movie -- it tries to be be both a comedy and a drama, but fails at both and manages to be extremely boring in the process. If you're a die-hard Chow Yun-Fat fan and want to see a look at the early part of his film career, you may want to check this movie out. But be warned that Chow displays little of the charisma and personality that would make him one of Asia's top actors in later years.
