Nicolas Cage teams up with the acclaimed writing and directing duo of Danny and Oxide Pang in this remake of the Pang brothers' 1999 debut.
Taking place in one of the last true wild frontiers in the world, Thailand, Cage plays a deaf-mute hitman named Joe who travels to the far-off land to pull off a series of jobs.
Joe meets a stripper named Fon (played by Hong Kong star Charlie Yeung) that he begins falling for, which of course complicates his work.
As Joe tries to get out of "the life", he quickly realizes that it won't be an easy task...
